We hope you all enjoyed a lovely, relaxing Easter break! We've loved hearing all about the children's holiday adventures.
Already our term is off and flying with our excursion to the Australian National Aviation Museum on Thursday. The students were able to take a close-up look at many historical aircraft, and even experience sitting in the cockpit of an airliner and a flight simulator. The children had a wonderful time at the museum and were intrigued by the features of the many aircraft on display. The museum is open to the public and definitely worth a visit. Check out their website at https://www.aarg.com.au for more information.
A big thank you to our wonderful parent and grandparent helpers who accompanied us to the museum - we couldn't have done it without you!
Shortly we will commence our 'Going Places' Summative Assessment Task. The children will require recycled materials to construct models (e.g. small boxes, containers). If you have any materials to donate please give them to your classroom teacher. Thank you to everyone who has already brought materials in.
We look forward to speaking with you all further at the Student Progress Meetings this Monday 20th April and the following Monday 27th April.
For Show and Share next week we would like the students to talk about a mode of transport that travels on or under the water. They need to explain what it is used for, the features that it has and how it moves.
Show and Share for Week 3 will be to talk about a mode of transport that travels on land. Explain what it is used for, its features and how it moves.
The Term 2 Apps are now listed on the App List page. Please ensure your child has these downloaded onto their iPad within the next week.
Looking forward to another exciting term ahead!
